Easter Weekend in Moab

For Easter our family went to Moab for the 43rd Annual Jeep Safari, and to spend the weekend with my family. We had a great time. It was Adam's Spring Break so we got to take him with us!

We met up with some of our friends from Sandy and did a Jeep trail called Porcupine Rim. It is very pretty! It looks over into Castle Valley. The picture below is looking down into this valley and of Castle Rock. (For those Bon Jovi fans, this is where the video of "Blaze of Glory" was filmed on top of Castle Rock!)

We went out to some dunes for a picnic and riding on Saturday. The weather was nice off and on. The video below shows one of the few times the weather was
kinda nasty! My Mom is so smart though, she brought one of those pop
up tent that I had for the kids.

Grateful for family, and for just phone calls - random- that make you feel like someone cares. I am grateful today to fast. This is the first time I have fasted in a really long time. I stopped breastfeeding recently and so glad for this opportunity to have a family fast. I pray that everyone with have their spirits lifted this day.
